Two Girls Recieved Miracles Today!
Two people today has something happen to them! One person got healed of pain in her lip where she could not eat anything prior to prayer and she recieved peace of God throughout her entire being. She no longer has any pain and her whole countenance changed when we finished praying! The other girl recieved the gift of speaking heavenly tongues and felt an amazing fire coursing through her chest as we were praying for her! God is so good! I love how in Mark 16:18, it doesn`t specify who the sick are in order to lay hands on them and they will recover... it just says THE SICK... saved or sinner, the sick are the sick, and they will be healed when you lay hands on them for healing! God is so good!
Man´s Knee Miraculously Healed!
I want to share with you how a man, who had metal in his leg, got miraculously healed yesterday.
I live with Ana Maria and Alejandro Del Campo, and Joseph in the church. Ana Maria works in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and travels there once a month, and she got back home in Quito last night, 6-21-12, with her mother and brother. Today, Alejandro and Ana Maria were showing them around the scenic parts of Quito. They visited a cool place called The Center of the World where the equator is and you can balance an egg on a nail there! One of many cool things to do there. As they got back to the house, they had to get thier things so they could go back to Guayaquil. He said we would be back at the house in 30 minutes so I said sure. It dawned on me to ask the question as we were half out to the end of the city... ´´How are we getting back?´´
You see, we were taking Ana Maria´s Mom´s car to the outskirts of Quito and we had no car of our own. So I asked them the question... ´´How are we getting back?´´ Ana Maria looked at me stunned and Alejandro said, ´´That is a good question.´´ Dear Lord, the things I do for friends. It is a good thing I listened to my gut in getting a 20 dollar bill before we left. So we all get to the outskirts of Quito and I am freaking hungry; borderline starving. I see a little hole in the wall selling candy and other things like that so I go there because I needed something to hold me over until we got back to the house and I needed change for the 20 also.
I go into the first store and it was a dud. I go to the second store and I spot their ice cream. I got some icecream while Ana Maria got us each a milkshake. So we finally get on the bus to get back to Quito and we start talking with a guy on the bus to see if he is saved or not. He said he was and he was looking for a church. He had to get off of the bus before we could give him the information for the church so we just prayed for God to send more laborers across his path.
That guy on the bus thought God was mad at him for his sins, when he didn´t know that Jesus took His sins for all eternity at the cross, and Father God blotted ALL OF HIS SINS out through the working of Jesus´s death on the cross for HIS sake!
Isaiah 43:25, ´´ I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.´´
God is so good!
As we were getting closer to the bus station, a lady offered to share a taxi with us on the way to Quito because she knew somebody. I really didn´t have a good feeling about us going with her in my gut and it proved to be good and I will you see why it was good in just a second. So we continued onward to the bus terminal. I was still so hungry, but I had a hankering for sour gummy worms and I could feel a booger hanging in my nose so I had to take of that issue first. You never want a beautiful woman walking by, seeing your brother-in-law hanging out of your nose, and waving at her. After, fixing my nose, they helped me in tryign to find the gummy worms. It was so hard trying to describe the sour gummy worms to the store clerks who had no idea what Alejandro was saying in translation because he had no idea what he was talking about! haha
Meanwhile, as we are searching, we did go downstairs to the lower level to some more stores. There was a Jesus statue around the corner where the stores were at adn people were coming to touch the statue and feel as if their sins were forgiven. They feel safe when they touch that statue, it was a shrine, really. There was one guy walking up to the statue and I said to him, ¨Jesus es mi amigo,¨ and I walked off. I thought it was rather funny to leave him hanging like that because not many people have a personal relatiohsip down here with the guy who the shrine is made after. As we are walking, we arrive at this lady´s store, her name is Maria, and I begin the conversation with talking about the statue.
We start talking more about why people feel imprtant when they touch the statue. I said it was better just have a personal relationship with the guy who they think they are touching. It really all boiled down to this question...
´´Not saying it will happen, but do you know if you would you go to heaven if you died tonight?´´
She had no idea if she was going to be going to heaven tonight if she died. The thing with this is if anyone says they do not know or they are because of any reason, besides Jesus is their Lord and Savior, they need to get born again and filled with the Holy Spirit in speaking in other tongues. The Lord revealed to me through a word of kowledge about her head having problems with her head. She said she would get nausiated wihtout any reason at random times of the day. We prayed for her and I believe she got healed because the Bibe says,
´´...we shall lay hands on the sick and they shall be healed...´´ Mark 16:18
She recieved Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we got her number, and gave her information on the church. We also told her she just made the best decision of her entire life. That is VERY important.
Here is another thing, when that person ´´notifies´´ you of their need for Jesus give them the three scripture listed below. It is very easy, direct, straight to the point, and it does not matter how you feel when you say this to them because were the justified in Christ and we live by faith, not by our feelings and the Holy Spirit is at work with their hearts, not you. Hab. 2:4, Rom. 1:17
Romans 3:23, ´´, for all have sinned in the past and fall short of the glory of God in ourselves...´´
Ephesians 2:8, ´´...we are saved by grace through faith, that is not of any works of ourselves that we may boast, but a gift from from God.´´
Romans 10:nine-10, ´´Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus rose from the dead and you shall be saved...´´
You can personalize to any other scriptures you want, as long as, they represent that salvation is dependant on Jesus´death, burial, and resurrection. I have put a link to another man´s website below for more soul wining Scriptures and tips:
Riley Stephonson is an amazing Evangelist and his ministry is an outreach of kenneth Copeland Ministries. Although, some may not agree with Kenneth Copeland and his teachings, we sure can agree on Evangelism and showigng the love of God to the lost and borkenhearted.
After we get the lady´s contact information, we head back upstairs to find some more stores. As we did, we passed by a store that had sunglasses out front and I saw some that I liked and pointed them out to Ana Maria. We ended up staying at this guy´s store for about 45 minutes talking to him about the sunglasses and if he had Jesus in his heart.
Hang on for a second, I want you to know that we were not on some evangelistic outreach for the city at all. We were simply out doing normal things when we just wanted to ask if these people had Jesus as the Lord of their lives and the Holy Spirit launched it from there. Cool, huh? Everyone is to do the work of an evangelist. 2 Timothy 4:5
So we began asking him questions about his salvation. I asked him the question if he would go to heaven if he died tonight. He wasn´t sure. NOTIFICATION: Not saved! I asked him if he had any pain in his body. Alejandro translated for me, thank God, and told me the guy had metal in his leg, I don´t remeber why, but he could not bend his leg at all. I wanted to pray for him and he said I could. I prayed two times for him. The first time, he could bend his leg with a little bit. The second time, the pain was completely gone, he could bend his leg with no restraint, and this was before he recieved Jesus as his Lord and Savior!!!
Then, I asked him to pray the prayer with me, he did, and he recieved the Lord into his heart and got born again. Ana Maria started talking to him about something in spanish.
I couldn´t understand the half of it, but I had a desire in my heart to pray for his business.
We began to pray for him and the Holy Spirit manifested so strongly that he took a deep breathe and it was like he was shaking something off as he exhaled. Glory to God! Then, we started talking to him about being filled with the Holy Spirit in speaking with a heavenly language. He wanted to be filled so we prayed with him and he recieved the Holy Spirit right there in the marketplace!
´´If the Word of God does not work in the marketplace, it does not work.´´
- Bill Johnson
It is not hard to help someone recieve the Holy Spirit in speaking in other tongues. It is very easy when you know what God says about the thing. All they have to is believe with their heart and speak. The thing with being filled with the Holy Spirit with a person, if they have any difficulty... it is most likely a yielding problem or a doctrinal problem. They either, do not know how to yield or they need to learn more about it from the Bible. This guy had niether, which was awesome! Here are some scriptures to help you briefly explain the synopsis of tongues to another person and why it is for today:
Jude 20, ¨... Beloved, build yourself up on your most holy faith, praing in the Holy
Spirit...´´
1 Corinthians 14:2, ´´ For anyone who speaks in a tongue[a] does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.´´
What a person does when they pray in tongues is beautiful. They are knocking out so many birds with one stone, it amazes me. They build themselves up in their spirit man and pray out mysteries between them and God. They may be praying out and paving the road for something they may be walking out 20 years from now! The thing about tongues is that the person just needs to speak. They do not need to think, they just need to start speaking and BOOM! They may have some strange words or syllables come to their minds, but they just need to speak that out. I tell people this all the time; it may not be much, it may be a lot, but just speak it out and work it like any other muscle.
It was so awesome when he asked if he could pray for us. It was beautiful, it was amazing. He prayed for our families and many other things! It was so great to see a newly born babe in Christ so eager to give to others what he just recieved.
We got his contact information to follow up with him as well. We will be calling both of these people tomorrow to see how they are doing and to invite them again to church.
You see, a lot of people believe Evangelism is solely leading people to Christ, but that is only the first part of Evangelism. Evangelism is alot like owning a business. If you do not take care of the current customers you have, how can you expect to give your ´´company´´a good reputation? FOLLOW-UP IS THE KEY. Press in and track the people you have met and keep up with them. Maintain your friendship with them so they can get plugged into a pastor near. They want to know someone cares about them and not just to ´´get a new convert´´.
People couldn´t truly care less about what or who you know until they know you care about them, regardless, of the circumstances. People are crying out to be accepted and understood. Be that friend to them in time of need. They want a group of individuals who will be a family. People are being rejected everyday. be that friend that accepts them for who they are as God has accepted and loves you this very day.
I was with Ana maria and Alejandro on another bus back to the house and I looked in one guys eyes, and the Lord showed me his brokenheart. I could sense his pain and still do. I pray for him because he chose not to recieve Jesus at that time because he thought God was mad at him. It really broken my heart to see him walk away condemned by the devil. We told him that God loves no matter what and it is by what Jesus did that he is forgiven and not that of ourselves for Jesus took our sins for all of eternity. I know the Holy Spirit will be working on his heart everyday now, nagging his mind, sinse he has heard the truth about God and His love for him. God´s word does not return void my friends! So whether he recieved or not, he is getting born again because God´s word does NOT return without profit!
Isaiah 55:11, ´´... It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.´´
If you have been reading this and you feel the Lord tugging on your heart and you want to make things right between you and Jesus, pray this prayer with me.
Dear Father God,
Thank you for sending Jesus to die on the cross specifically for me and raising Him from the dead so I can have eternal life and peace with You. Please take my life and use it for purpose. Thank you for choosing me before the foundations of the world and calling me your son.
In Jesus´ Name,
Amen!
You have just made the best decision of your entire life!!!
Please email me when you have prayed this prayer and let me know how your life has been changed!

Empowered To Preach the Gospel!
On the day you were
born again, you became anointed, empowered, authorized, and chosen! You are
empowered and authorized by Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, to preach
the Good News! Everything you need to fulfill God’s will for your life is on
the inside of you right now.
This very day God has been speaking to you about your
dreams and desires. Don’t give up! You can do it! When you realize who you are
and what you can do in line with God’s Word, you are on the first step of your
destiny. Your destiny was planned by God before you were ever born. He says so
in Psalm 139.
Psalm 139:1-16 (New Living Translation)
1 O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything
about me.
2 You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You
know everything I
do.
4 You know what I am
Going to say even before I say it,
Lord.
5 You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of
blessing on my
head.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me
to understand!
7 I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away
from your
presence!
8 If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the
grave, you are there.
9 If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the
farthest oceans,
10 even there your hand will guide me, and your strength
will support me.
11 I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around
me to become
night—
12 but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the
night shines as
bright as day.
Darkness and light are the same to you.
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your
workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16 You saw me before
I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment
was laid out before a single day had passed.
You are on the right path today! God knows you! He knows
everything about you. That’s why He would never tell you to do
something you weren’t EMPOWERED
and AUTHORIZED and chosen to do!
Let’s look at Psalm 138:8 in the New Living Translation: “The Lord will work out his plans for my
life. . . .” We are God’s masterpiece. He has created us new in Christ
Jesus so that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. He made us
brand new in Christ! “Christ” means (we have learned from Brother
Copeland) The Anointed One and
the “anointing” is the burden-removing, yoke-destroying power of God.
So we can say aloud:
God created me new in The Anointed One and through His anointing—that
burden-removing, yoke-destroying power of God—I can do the good things He has
planned for me. God has made every provision I need to do what He has
EMPOWERED AND AUTHORIZED me to do! I can
do it!
Mark 16:15 is known as
The Great Commission. In the New Living Translation, Jesus says, “. . .
Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone everywhere.” We are
instructed by Jesus to witness to everyone everywhere.
God says, “Go preach!”
You may say, “Where?”
God says, “Everywhere!”
You may say, “Who do I preach to?”
God says, “Everyone!”
But when we are
standing face-to-face with our neighbor, mailman, pizza guy, convenience store
clerk, or fast food clerk, we look at the natural circumstances and think,
“What if he/she rejects me?”
When we begin to doubt, we are saying, “Hello, Mr. Doubt,
come right on in here and hand us that bag of lies.” We just opened up the door
to Mr. Doubt and Mrs. Unbelief. This Mr. and Mrs. team has robbed the Church
for years. God says, “Go” Devil says,
“They might reject you and think your crazy.”
God says, “Go” Devil says, “You haven’t memorized enough scripture.” God
says, “Go” Devil says, “They look like a Christian.” Jesus said go to EVERYONE EVERYWHERE!
The Church has been lied to. Now let me ask you; who is the
father of lies? John 8:44 says, “. . . for he [the devil] is a liar,
and father of it.” We just learned from Mark chapter 9 that if there are no
ifs, anything can happen. Mark 9:23 in the King James Version says, “.
. . If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”
We cannot let Satan keep us from sharing our faith!
You can be an effective
witness for Jesus! You can shake your city with the Gospel! You can shake your
nation for Jesus! You can change the world! God is looking for men and women to
take their place in the Body of Christ. I believe you are the very one God will
use for this end-time harvest of souls.
Romans Chapter 6 Confession
Should I keep sinning so God can keep forgiving me while I take one step forward and five steps back? I have left my old man behid me when I recieved Jesus into my heart. I am a brand new person with a new nature in the Lord Jesus Christ.
That's what baptism into the life of Jesus means. When I was lowered into the water, it was like the burial of Jesus; when I was raised up out of the water, it was like the resurrection of Jesus. I was raised into a light-filled world by my Father so that I can see where I’m going in my new grace-sovereign nature.
My old way of life was nailed to the cross with Christ, a decisive END to that sinful, miserable life. I am no longer at sin's every beck and call because I am submitted to God! I believe was included in Christ's sin-conquering death, I was also included in His life-saving resurrection. I know that when Jesus was raised from the dead it was a signal of the end of death-as-the-end. Never again will death have the last word over me! When Jesus died, he took sin down to hell with him, but alive he brings God down to me. Sin speaks a dead language. God speaks my native tongue, and I hang on every word. I am dead to sin and alive to God. That's what Jesus did.
That means I must not give sin a single vote in the way I conduct my lives. I don't even give it the time of day. I don’t even run little errands that are connected with that old way of life. I throw myself wholeheartedly and full-time—remember, I was raised from the dead!—into God's way of doing things. Sin can NOT tell me how to live. After all, I’m not living under that old tyranny anymore. I’m living in the freedom of God.
So, since I’m out from under the old tyranny, does that mean I can live any old way I want? Since I’m free in the freedom of God, can I do anything that comes to mind? Hardly. I know well enough from my own experience that there are some acts of so-called freedom that destroy my freedom. Offer myself to sin, for instance, and it's my last free act. But offer myself to the ways of God and the freedom never quits. All my life I've let sin tell me what to do. But thank God I've started listening to a new master, one whose commands set me free to live openly in His freedom!
I can readily recall how at one time the more I did just what I felt like doing—not caring about others, not caring about God—the worse my life became and the less freedom I had. And how much different is it now as I live in God's freedom, my life healed and expansive in holiness, yes?
As long as I did what I felt like doing, ignoring God, I didn't have to bother with right thinking or right living, or right anything for that matter. But do I call that a free life? What did I get out of it? Nothing I’m proud of now. Where did it get me? Nothing, but a dead end.
But now that I've found out I don't have to listen to sin tell me what to do, and have discovered the delight of listening to God telling me, what a surprise! A whole, healed, put-together life right now, with more and more of life on the way! Work hard for sin my whole life and my pension is death. But God's gift is real life, eternal life, delivered by Jesus, my Master.
That's what baptism into the life of Jesus means. When I was lowered into the water, it was like the burial of Jesus; when I was raised up out of the water, it was like the resurrection of Jesus. Jesus Understands!
Hey Friends!
I just want you to know something my heart this morning. I want to share with you what the Lord worked in my heart yesterday evening. It set me free from the desire to be accepted by others. I want you to know something... there is nothing more desireable than to be wholeheartedly understood by someone. That is what we yearn for in life is to be accepted and understood.
I have always wanted to be accepted by those I call my friends and those I called mentors. There is nothing more satisfying to me than to be understood. The Lord dealt with me one night last week to vow to understand people even when I am not understood. I may never be understood completely by my peers, but I am content with that because our relationships will continue to grow until the coming of Jesus Christ. THAT is adventure!
I was listening to a Kenneth Hagin series earlier today and a verse absolutely jumped out at me in a new context that I have never really seen before.
Romans 8:31, ´´ If God be for us, what difference does it make who is against us?´´
When you see that verse in the setting of being accepted or rejected by others; it´ll change your life. That was the root of my insecurities, why I thought I was always the one in the wrong when someone else had a problem, and why I thought my identity was based on what other people thought about me. I was indirectly raised to think that way, which is why I had such an issue with that in my life.
We have a bible School here that is every night from Monday to Thursday and we have 30 minutes of prayer prior to starting the schoool every night. As the staff and some others were praying here, the Holy Spirit showed up in such a marvelous way that He healed my brokenheart in thsi arena. It was like He took my heart in His hands like never before, rearranged my focus from people to Him. I put my focus on Him and it is staying there fr all of eternity. I finally understand how much Jesus, my best friend, understands me for who I am and who He created me to be. It so good to have Him as my best friend.
Psalms 131:2, ´´... I quiet my soul like a weined child desiring his mother´s milk...´´
That scripture is a perfect example of how the Holy Spirit helped me in understanding that Jesus Christ, my best friend, understands me. That is all I have ever wanted in my life was to be understood and accepted. I found that in Jesus. I want you to know that no matter what a person says, your relationship will always continue to grow with them because you are always learning new things about one another, but Jesus knows everything about you and understands you perfectly.
Jesus is not a high and mighty ´´being´´in heaven floating on Cloud Nine. Did you know Jesus is flesh and blood in Heaven right now? The Lord, who died for my sins, and was risen form the dead, also ascended on high from the earth on his body. He did not leave His body and go to heaven. He went to heaven with His body.
MARK 16:19, ´´ So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and
sat down at the right hand of.´´
It is so reassuring to have someone, who has known me before birth, genuinely understand me for I am and who I was created to be. It is so comforting because that is all I needed to give my full attention to understanding others first before wanting themto understand me. I hope you understand that you are understood and accepted by Jesus for who He created you to be. He understands you.
I can now vow to understand others first before wanting them to understand me because I know God understands me. I hope this gives you a better understanding of how much jesus, my best friend, knows about you, cares for you, accepts you, and understands you.
If you do not have have Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour or if you think you are going to heaven for any other reason than having Jesus as your Saviour, pray this prayer with me also because you need to have a genuine relationship with God:
Romans 3:23, ´´ All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God...´´
Dear Father God,
Thank you for sending Jesus to die on the cross specifically for me and rasing Him from the dead so I can have eternal life and peace with You. Please take my life and use it for meaningfully for Your glory and rid me of all sorrow. Thank you for choosing me before the foundations of the world.
In Jesus´ Name,
Amen!

- Ephesians 2:8, ´´ For you are saved by grace, through faith; and this not of yourselves; it is God's gift.´´Romans 10:nine-10, ´´ If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, Jesus is risen from the dead, you will be saved.´´
In Jesus´ Name,
Amen!
You have just made the best decision of your entire life!!!

Jesus Is Your Best Friend
JESUS IS YOUR BEST FRIEND.
I want you to know that Jesus is your best friend. I just really want you to know He is your best friend, nothing more. There is nothing else more important right now. I want you to know that He is (I know Him personally) with you all of the time. He is never going to abandon you or betray you with decietful lying lke the other person. He is and always will be truthful with you. I am so glad He understands me and accepts me where I am at in life and does not judge me for somethign I am not. I want you to know the same. God (Dad, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit) is always with us to help and comfort us.
The Bible says, in Romans 8:17, that we are equal hiers with Jesus. We are not made any lower, nor anyhigher, but on the level playing field as He is when we recieved Him in our hearts as Lord and Savior. He is still the Lord of our life as He is also the bestest friend we will ever have in our entire life lifetime. He will never lie to us and never betray us. He is always going to be transparent with you as you listen to what He has to say. He is always here for you when you need Him the most and will never make a promise to you and never show up to fulfill it. He is always faithful.

We Have to Fight the Good Fight of Faith!
Hey Friends,
Today has been a great day. It has been an uphill battle, but I have won. I remember posting in last night`s post about how walking in love is not a feeling, but a faith. So is walking in victory when the devil is attacking you on every angle.
I have not felt comfortable at all today, but my flesh knows nothing better than to be stupid. It is my job, the spirit man, to shut my flesh up so nothing stupid happens. That is exactly what happened throughout today. The devil attacked my emotions, my mind, and my flesh all at once all day today, but I peresevered and stand before you with victory. You see, I fight the very same things you do. You are not alone.
We have a Bible School here in Quito Monday through Thursday at 6:30pm to 9:30pm. We always pray before the school starts for about 30 minutes and we get a ten minute break before class starts. As we were praying, the Lord directed my attention to a friend of mine who was praying, also. She was having trouble with something, I could just tell her countanance was down. The break came, and I asked her if I could pray for her. As we prayed, I could sense the Holy Spirit ``rearranging`` some things with her and giving her peace of mind while stirring up the gifts on the inside of her heart. The Lord truly touched her heart.
After class, we started talking a little bit more and I felt the Lord telling me to tell her these scriptures:
Romans 8:28, `` All things work toward the good of those who love Jesus.``
Isaiah 54:17, ``No weapon formed against you shall prosper...``
Now here is the thing, God never said there would be no weapon coming against you; He just said it WOULD NOT prosper.
Jesus won the war at the cross when He said, `` It is finished.`` (John 19:30)
Jesus won the war, but we have battles we must win everyday.
ENFORCE YOUR VICTORY IN CHRIST!
As we said our goodbyes for the night, I close the door to the house, and remembered something I should tell her. So I ran out to the car and asked her this question, `` How do we obtain victory?`` She answered with a very intricate answer of, `` We must stand steadfast.`` That is very good, but the correct answer was, `` We have to fight the battle.`` Standing steadfast is the core of fighting the battle, but we can not stand steadfast in the faith if we do not know we are int he middle of a battle.
WE HAVE TO FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH!
2 Corinthians 4:1, `` Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.``
2 Corinthians 10:3-5, `` For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.``

Father´s Day Testimonial
Hey Everyone,
We are having a miraculous time with the Lord here in Quito, Ecuador. I just want to share something with you since yesterday was Father´s Day. I was in the church service early yesterday morning for the third service, when Joseph spontaniously asked me if he could share with the congregation the last words I said to my dad the night before he was murdered two years ago. I said, ´´Sure.´´

The words were, ´´ I love you.´´
I want to share with you the story of how the Lord led me to my dad´s house the night before his murder.
To give you some background and history with my dad and I... my parents divorced when I was age 10 and my father was a major influence in my life for getting into drugs. He didn´t know it, but he did. We serve a merciful God, though. Throughout the years of my drug addiction, I was addicted to sexual perversions, and witchcraft. I started at age 12 and it became a gradule incline until the age of 16 before I gave my life to Jesus Christ. My father was stubborn as a mule, regardless, of the evidence placed in front of him. Sound like some one you know?
I remember times of how he and I would conversate over the phone, how our conversation would turn into arguementa, and finally yelling at one another and cussing the other out because neither one of us would attempt to understand the other. We both wanted to be understood. I was more like him than I realized at the time, due to my broken heart. Bitterness will turn you intot he person you resent the most. God would deal with my heart in saying, ´´You should call him back and apologize.´´ Many thoughts flashed through my mind like a lightening bolt. Things like:
1. He does not deserve my apology.
2. HE STARTED IT!
3. There is no way I am apologizing to him because he has hurt me enough already as it is.
Pride is the center of all of these thoughts and God hates pride. James 4:8
You see, something I didn´t tell you earlier is the physical and emotional abuse the devil did to me through my dad. As most people do, I wrestled with God in trying to persuade Him I was right in this matter, but He just repeated, as usual. You see, these kind of loud conversations, between my dad and I, happened A LOT. There were times that I felt inferior because of how many times I would lose my cool with my dad, but guess what? God doesn´t care about where you are at, He just wants you to know that He is there with you to help you to progress forward. So I called him back, doing what God told me to do, and everytime we would end our ´´call-back conversation´´ in the words I Love You.
You see, all of these ´´loud conversations´´ happened after I became a Christian, but wait! There are not supposed to be any faults with a Christian when he recieves Jesus! That´s the biggest hauk-a crap I´ve ever heard in my entire life. A person´s heart is made perfect when they recieve Jesus, not their thought patterns. Our actions result from the way we think. A lot of people based their relationship with God on their actions and not their fellowship with Him. Interesting, huh?
The greatest key to walking in love, showing the character of God, to my father was knowing the character of God more for myself everyday in fellowship with Him. It is not about how much a person prays everyday, but about much they understand the person of Jesus everyday for themselves.
Ephesians 4:32: Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ has forgiven you.
Isn´t that amazing?! ´´Well, I just can´t do that!´´
Hush it, yes you can. The Bible says so. It is the Truth, not your feelings.
Phillipians 4:13, Romans 5:5, 1 Corinthians 13, Galatians 5:22-23, and Romans 12:1-2 are to name a few scriptures where God says we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Or is God not big enough to help you?
God will never tell us to do something with which He is not willing to do, has not already done, or is not doing at this very moment.
I remember seeking God on what do with my dad one time and how to reach him with the Word. He never told me anything, but I kind of got the clue not to say anything to my dad about the Bible when he told me he didn´t want to hear anything about the Bible. This is where I had to live my life in front of him. The more I walked in love with him, being a light to him, the Holy Spirit began to work on his heart. He would call me in the middle of the night sometimes and say things like, ´´I am proud of the man you have become´´, and etc.
In Hebrews 11, it says, ´´It is faith that pleases God.´´
Walking in love with someone, sure as heck, ain´t a feeling, and that´s the darn truth. It is faith!
The Bible also says when we walk in love with someone, we reap ´´hot coals´´on their heads. The context of this verse refers back to the Old Testament examples of hot caols being a sacrifice unto God as a sweet fragrance unto Him. This fragrance, in the Old Testament, allowed God to come in and work in a situation. Awesome, huh?!
So when someone pisses you off, cuts you off in traffic, or whatever... smile and say, ´´I love you.´´ Say it anyway you want, loudly or forcefully, but get the point across to them and yourself that you love them no matter what they do because that is how God is with you. Remember, when you walk in love, you are showing them the character of God, and bringing sanity and peace into their lives, which they desperately need.
So, the more I came to the knowledge and revelation that Jesus, Himself, loved and still loves me no matter what I do... I was able to reflect that image of Christ to my dad. That is what shut me up at the important times so I could listen to him and thank the Lord, He gave me the right words to say at the right times! Did I always obey? Obviously not, but the more I put my heart into walking in fellowship with Christ, the more I was about to walk in fellowship with my dad to a greater degree.
God put me across my dad´s path a lot within a two year time span... that´s right, it took that long for my dad to change his heart... to pull the potential out of him and for him to realize God loved him based on Jesus´ action at the cross.
I remember heading to church one night and, while picking up two friends in my car, I got a call from my dad. He was crying because he hurt his ankle. He needed my help in wrapping his ankle up so I put on my flashers in my 2001 Chevy Malibu and raced down Jordan Lane Highway, zipping in and out of cars, And as I got to an intersection close to his house, he called me back, and told me he had a friend coming over so he didn´t need my help anymore.
I asked him if he was positive and he said he was sure. I continued driving, picked up my other friend, and as we got to an intersection, the Holy Spirit stopped me. He was pulling me to go see my dad.
It didn´t make sense to my mind, but I knew the Spirit of God was pulling me to go see my dad.
You see, God leads by peace, not confusion. Confusion is brought by a manipulative spirit of the devil. The Holy Spirit is a Spirit of peace and joy.
I turn left, towards my dad´s house, and I told the guys we were gonna to go see my dad. As we headed there, I called my dad and told him we were coming to see him, regardless, of his friend being there. He said it was fine because his friend just left because she forgot to pay the babysitter. We arrived, and as I began to help my dad, we all started having a great time with one another... making jokes and laughing together. It was the love of God in the atmosphere!
Now I know why, but, at the time, it felt wierd for me telling my dad I loved him so much. I can count probably six or seven times I told him I loved him within a span of about 35 minutes. He asked me if I was gay after the seventh time of me telling him I loved him. Hilarious!
There was something being done that night at my dad´s house. I believe God was showing my dad something he had never experienced before. Love and Affection.
We didn´t get to the church at the time we expected, but we were still early. We serve an awesome God.
I got off work Friday, the next day, as the Holy Spirit prompted me to
listen to He Will Lift You Up by Keith Moore. A fantastic sermon, but I could sense something was wrong when the Holy Spirit prompted me to listen to that sermon. There was a preparation happening. The Lord was preparing me for something, but I didn´t know what exactly. I was just obeying.
I remembering listening to this sermon while packing my suitcase for the family vacation, to Iowa, I would be leaving with the family the next morning. It is a 12 hour drive to Iowa from Alabama so we decided to stop at a hotel in Illinois as a halfway marker to rest.
I woke up the next morning, to my grandma calling me. I clicked the red button, she leaves me a voicemail, and I went back to sleep. It was super early and I was going to call her back. Next thing I know, I hear my mom scream and dash out of the room.
I think to myself, ´´What the heck? Oh well... zZzZzZzZz´´ Then, I got rather curious so I look out of the window to see her pacing in the parking lot. Now my ears are perked up, wondering what is going on, so I get ready to go down for continental breakfast in the hotel. I´m getting my cereal while listening to the voicemail my Grandma left me.
She was panicking as she told me, on the voicemail, my dad had been murdered in his own house by gunshot.
I dropped the phone, but I truly didn´t know how to feel, but that is when the Lord reminded me of what He told me seven months prior, ´´There is going to be something unexpected to happen.´´ This was definitely unexpected, but it didn´t surprise me. The Lord had been preparing me for such a time as this because He knew exactly what the devil was planning to do.
Before anyone hauls off and starts saying God did this to help me or it was my dad´s time to go...
´´The thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but I have come to give LIFE and it more enjoyably and abundantly.´´ - Jesus John 10:10
We serve an amazing God who shows us the things to come. I walked out to my mom and telling her I know what happened, she immediately hugged me and I started crying. I went behind the hotel to have time to myself and I called Joseph. As I was explaining to him what happened, I remember seeing my father in heaven. He looked a whole lot better up there than he did down here on earth. The difference of daylight and dark! Down here he was fat, balding hair, and had one arm. Up there, he was skinny, full head of long hair, and had both arms!
When I saw him, he was yelling, ´´WOOOO!!!´´
The vacaion turned into funeral, but the Lord gave a great scripture to uphold me through that time...
Isaiah 40:31:
´´Wait on the Lord and He shall renew your strength. You shall mount up with the wings of eagles, you shall run and not be weary. you shall walk and not faint!´´
When see a storm coming from afar, they prepare their wings, hit the current of wind, which catipults them above the storm, and they just coast above the storm until it passes. That is what the peace of God does. This is what happened everytime I spent time with the Lord in prayer. He refreshed me and I have no bad thought towards the person who pulled the trigger because I know God loves them because of the work Jesus did on the cross and through His ressurection.
I am so glad I obeyed the Lord because I am not sure what state of mind I would be in right now if I did not. I am so glad I was listening. I am so grateful that I obeyed the Lord in every situation of walking in love with my dad. We serve a God who empowers us to overcome because HE MADE US MORE THAN CONQUERORS IN CHRIST JESUS!
I have two sets of very important words to me that I want to share with you.
1. I Love You
2. It Was and Is Worth It
I hope you have been able to capture the Father´s heart through this message.

- Ephesians 2:8, ´´ For you are saved by grace, through faith; and this not of yourselves; it is God's gift.´´Romans 10:nine-10, ´´ If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, Jesus is risen from the dead, you will be saved.´´
In Jesus´ Name,
Amen!
You have just made the best decision of your entire life!!!
